Two excellent portraits. Nice shallow DOF and a pin sharp focus on your eyes, which can be hard to get. My only point of critisisim is you should be smiling much more!
Recently, I've been seing quite a few people, including myself, putting up diptychs. Nice one, like looking at ascrolling succession of images of the same person. And this frozen moment makes them look complete.
